Our Leadership Team

James M. Lindstrom, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Lindstrom has been President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company since October 2011 and previously served as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer since June 2010. Over a 19 year-career, Mr. Lindstrom has led or invested in major turnarounds and companies experiencing strategic transformations in a variety of industries, including the financial services, energy, business services and manufacturing industries. Prior to joining IES, Mr. Lindstrom was a partner at Tontine Associates, LLC, a private investment fund and an affiliate of the Company's majority stockholder, from 2006 until October 2011. Mr. Lindstrom's operating experience includes his role as the Chief Financial Officer of Centrue Financial Corporation from 2003 to January 2006 and as an executive at ChiRex Inc, a pharmaceutical services company, from 1996 through 2000. Mr. Lindstrom began his career at CS First Boston in 1994. He received his BA from Colby College and his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Mr. Lindstrom has also served as a director or a board observer of multiple publicly-traded companies.

Robert Lewey, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

From 2001 to 2006 and since 2007, Mr. Lewey has served as Director of Tax, Vice President, Tax and Treasurer for IES. He was appointed to his current position on January 20, 2012. From 2006 to 2007, he served as Vice President, Tax for Sulzer US Holdings, Inc. From 1995 to 2001, Mr. Lewey served as Vice President, Tax for Metamor Worldwide, Inc., a leading provider of information technology solutions. Robert brings more than 25 years of experience to his role including significant experience in acquisitions, dispositions and corporate reorganizations. He began his career with Deloitte and received his BBA in Accounting from the University of Houston. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Texas.

Harvey Hammock, Vice President of Safety and Productivity
Harvey Hammock started his tenure with IES in April 1999 when Putzel Electrical Contractors was acquired by IES. Mr. Hammock has steadily gained responsibility in the IES Safety organization since October 2000, with promotions to Director of Safety and Vice President of Safety. Mr. Hammock has been responsible for launching and managing IES' industry-leading safety program. Recently, Mr. Hammock's responsibilities were expanded to include management of productivity for all IES operations. Mr. Hammock enjoyed a 22-year career with Putzel Electrical Contractors starting as an electrician's helper, advancing to superintendent, then being promoted to General Superintendent, responsible for all field operations and field personnel, averaging 250 employees and $23 million annual volume. Mr. Hammock has established many apprenticeship programs and served on numerous boards and committees throughout his 31-year career in the electrical industry. Mr. Hammock attended Macon Vocational Technical School, specializing in Industrial Electricity.

Dwayne Collier, President-IES Residential  

From 1992 to present, Mr. Collier has served as Division Manager, Senior Division Manager, and Vice President of Operations.  He was appointed to his current position in April 2011.  Dwayne brings almost 20 years of experience to his role as President of IES Residential.  Dwayne holds numerous Master electrical licenses throughout the United States. 

Thomas E. Santoni, President-IES Commercial & Industrial

Thomas Santoni began his career in the electrical contracting industry approximately 30 years ago as a journeyman electrician and attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Prior to joining IES in 1995 Mr. Santoni managed electrical contracting operations in San Diego (President) and Chicago (Vice President). With IES for the past 16 years, Mr. Santoni has held various leadership positions including business unit President, Regional General Manager, Vice President of Sales, and most recently Central Division Vice President.

Donald Fishstein, President-IES Communications
Donald Fishstein started his career in telecommunications in 1973 and worked for several telecommunications firms, including ROLM Corporation, before joining Federal Communications Group (FCG) as a principal in 1985. FCG grew to become one of the nation's largest providers of structured cabling and low-voltage systems. In 1999, IES acquired FCG and Mr. Fishstein continued with IES to serve as the FCG business unit president until 2008, when he was appointed to lead the newly formed Communications Division. Mr. Fishstein now serves as Group President of IES Communications. Mr. Fishstein holds numerous industry certifications including the BICSI RCDD/NTS.
